What is the Actuarial Trek?
Every semester, the Cornell Actuarial Society plans a two-day trip to a city with a strong actuarial presence. During this time, we visit and network with several actuarial companies individually. Our Actuarial Trek is a great opportunity for members to learn about relevant opportunities in both insurance and consulting and to forge relationships with business professionals and industry leaders. It also offers participants unique insight into the industry and the opportunity to experience distinct company cultures. Past Actuarial Trek participants have received interviews and internship offers from the connections they built from the Actuarial Trek.
